When I tuned in to NPR yesterday afternoon, they were airing “Paul McCartney at the BBC“, a portrait of Sir Paul drawn from BBC archive interviews and performances, presented by Johnny Walker. One of the songs they played was “Live And Let Die”. I hadn’t heard that song in a while, and I had forgotten how great it is. It’s one of my favorite James Bond title sequence songs, along with the classic original theme arranged by John Barry, and Duran Duran’s “A View To A Kill”.

Speaking of Stevie Wonder, here’s a unique take on “Superstition”. I don’t love all aspects of this remix, but I do like the chords, and every time I hear it, I hear a Jazzanova-style remix in my head. I actually have all the stems of the original, including the a cappella. Maybe one day I’ll work on my own remix.
