This song was originally recorded in 1971 by Rotary Connection featuring Minnie Ripperton (Maya Rudolph's mother). Louie Vega and Kenny 'Dope' Gonzalez (aka Masters At Work) updated the track for the 90s on their Nuyorican Soul album. Presented here is the 4 Hero remix, my favorite version of this song.
